Oliver is 12 and will be starting Grade 6 in 2025. Oliver is doing well in school and excels in Home Economics. When he grows up, he wants to become a soldier! Unfortunately, since 2020, Oliver has repeatedly been sent home from school because his mother could not afford to pay for his school fees. His mother never finished her education which makes it difficult for her to find employment.

Girls who are unable to attend school have a high risk of becoming pregnant or being forced into marriage, whereas boys have a high risk of underage drinking, smoking, and becoming involved in petty crime.
